Fit For Life Health Club offers a full and diverse schedule of classes
to suit your taste and fitness level. Our classes are designed to accommodate the beginner as well as challenge even the most
advanced exercise enthusiast. All classes are taught by certified, experienced, professional instructors.

Class Descriptions

Zumba

Zumba is a mixture of Latin moves, hip-hop, and a touch of
belly dancing. Zumba exercises are low-impact, yet high-energy.
There are a lot of side-to-side movements and lots of hip shaking.
The music has a Latin and club feel and pumps out infectious beats
that make you want to keep moving, even after the hour is over!

Step/Tone

An easy-to-follow one-hour step class with intensity options,
followed by fifteen minutes of target toning a specific muscle
group. It's simple and you tailor the class to fit your needs.
Enjoy an invigorating, effective and fun workout.

Pilates

Improve core control, coordination, standing alignment and
balance with Pilates mat exercise. Emphasis is on precise
alignment, breathing and efficient sequencing of movement.

Body Blast

This high-energy class focuses on burning fat, gaining strength, and building endurance. The class may be in various formats, i.e., circuit (alternating low intensity and high intensity), or 20/20/20 (3-20 minute segments of cardio and sculpting). The cardio segments may include Step, Low Impact, High Impact, or Kickboxing. A core routine and final stretch completes the workout. Intensity options are given for all fitness levels.

Body Sculpt

Tone up and shape your muscles to music. This one-hour class
is designed to build muscle strength, endurance and definition.
Resistance equipment such as weights and bands may be used.
This is a workout like no other.

SilverSneakers®

Muscular Strength & Range of Movement

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercise designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.


Cardio Circuit

Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.
